Influenza could be particularly tough this season. This is partly because so many people survived the flu - and other virus types - during the 2020-2021 season. The tough measures against COVID-19 meant that other viruses, such as the RSV and the calicivirus that causes vomiting, did not.
But this year they are here again. Most workplaces have reopened and are once again at risk of spreading infections. It is when people meet that viruses spread. Especially in indoor environments, such as offices where we spend long periods of time together.
Many viral diseases are airborne; they also occur as droplet infections. When someone coughs in the room, the particles remain in the air and you breathe them in as you pass by.
But what if it was possible to neutralize them so they can't hurt you anymore? It is indeed possible. But neutralizing them requires modern, proven technology that can take on the challenge, preferably immediately without the virus having to pass through a filter in the corner of the room.

Usually, immunity and other factors make some people less affected by flu and other types of viruses. Not everyone gets infected. But this year, many people have gone uninfected for a long time, putting more people at risk.
We see examples of this among children. RSV is one such virus that is thriving right now due to lower than normal immunity in the population. This virus had an early start to the season and then increased very quickly.
At the time of writing, according to the Swedish Public Health Agency, it is too early to predict how the flu season will develop.
