Success for Habitat Solutions and LightAir in Dutch schools

LightAir's partner Habitat Solutions BV has recently installed our virus-inhibiting air purification technology in six more Dutch schools. Habitat Solutions has been our long-standing partner in the Benelux, and we have both gradually shifted our focus from consumer-oriented sales to commercial and industrial customers. This strategic shift has now produced clear results.

In late fall 2022, Habitat carried out installations of LightAir air purifiers at two schools in the Netherlands. The positive response has led to six more schools, within the same foundation, choosing to install our products, which means an order value of approximately SEK 400,000. This shows a growing interest in cleaner indoor air, both in schools and other organizations.

Clean air is important for both health and productivity. Our air purifiers, based on IonFlow technology, have proven effective in reducing airborne viruses, which can help reduce sick leave and improve learning environments. A study from Karolinska Institutet, published in Nature Scientific Reports, confirms our technology's ability to neutralize virus particles.

Peter Svensk, CEO of LightAir, emphasizes that Habitat Solutions' work in the Benelux is a key part of our strategy to expand in the B2B segment. "We have seen a lot of interest from schools and industries, and we are happy to be able to offer Swedish-made products that protect both people and machines," he says.

We also offer 'clean air as a service', which means our customers can subscribe to regular maintenance and updating of their air cleaning systems. This package is ideal for schools, offices and industries looking for a simple and cost-effective solution to maintain high air quality.

LightAir and Habitat Solutions continue to work together to deliver high quality air purification and create a cleaner and safer environment for all users.
